Welcome to Women's Ice Hockey
Women's Ice Hockey is a member of the American Collegiate Hockey Conference (ACHA), the national governing body for collegiate club ice hockey.
Considered a relatively new organization, the Stags are entering their seventh competitive season. In 2008-2009, the women's ice hockey club qualified for their first ever regional tournament.
All Fairfield home games are hosted by The Rinks At Shelton. The dual-rink ice facility is approximately a 15 minute car ride from campus.
The club is coached by Paul Kelly, a former professional player and coach in the National Hockey League. Paul is available for the twice-a-week practices and all games.
In a typical season, the Stags will compete against regional club teams such as Bates College, Smith College, UConn, UMass-Lowell, Vermont, Northeastern, and Columbia.
