Welcome to Men's Club Volleyball
The Fairfield University Men's Club Volleyball team completed another season of competition under the Department of Recreation. The club has remained a viable program, with 15 plus participants, playing matches during both the fall and spring semesters.
During the 2011-12 season, Fairfield hosted the "Marty Open Tournament" on January 29 with over 20 teams participating.
This one-day tournament is easily presented within the confines of the Leslie C. Quick Jr. Recreational Complex on the Fairfield campus.
The club team is a member of the New England Collegiate Volleyball League (NECVL), which consists of approximately 40 college and university clubs in the New England area. The Stags compete in the NECVL South Division.
Competition includes, but is not limited to, UConn, Yale, Bryant, Wesleyan, and The Coast Guard Academy.
This past season, the club finished with a 5 - 5 record and qualified for the Regional Championships held at the University of New Hampshire. The Stags were eliminated in the qualifying round.
With strong leadership in place, Fairfield Club Volleyball looks forward to another successful 2012 -13 season of competition.
