Welcome to the Men's Ice Hockey Team

Under the supervision of the Fairfield University Department of Recreation, the Men's Ice Hockey Club competes in the Empire Collegiate Hockey Conference (ECHC) and the national American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA).

The Stag's season begins in early September and concludes in March, with a short hiatus for the academic intercession. Aside from 16 ECHC league games, several games and or tournaments may be scheduled each season.

Practices are typically held twice a week at the home facility, The Rinks At Shelton, located approximately 15 minutes from Fairfield's campus in Shelton, Conn.

The program has fielded a championship-caliber team for the past several seasons. Most recently, the Stags finished 5th in MCHC Playoff standings. The club recorded an 11-4 season. This qualified them for the MCHC post-season tournament, losing in the opening round game to Hofstra.
