Summer Jazz Workshop

The 2010 Summer Jazz Workshop offers middle school and high school student instrumentalists and vocalists an intense five- or 10-day jazz experience. The program is led by Brian Torff, music program director at Fairfield University. The students of this workshop will both perform in jazz ensembles and attend classes/workshops in jazz improvisation and theory. On Friday, July 16 and Friday, July 23, the students will perform in a concert. Participants must have at least two years' instrument or vocal experience, and have a basic music reading ability.
