Call for Sponsors - Book Awards

  

The University will once again honor over 150 high school juniors, nationwide, with our Fairfield University Book Award, a Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary. These book awards help us raise student awareness of Fairfield and advance the University's reputation as a premier, Jesuit, learning institution.

One student from the junior class of each participating high school will be awarded. The student must meet the following criteria:

  • Rank in the top tenth of their class
  • Enroll in a challenging curriculum (Some Honors/AP/IB courses, if available)
  • Participate actively in school and/or community activities
  • Possess leadership qualities coupled with a sense of concern and responsibility to others

Currently, 20 high schools are without sponsors and in order to continue this essential partnership with them, we need alumni help. The Book Award sponsorship fee is $37 per school.
