Reconnecting with our West Coast Stags
California alumni gave a warm welcome to Rev. Jeffrey von Arx, S.J. at March receptions in 
both San Francisco and Malibu.
Moira and Joe Russoniello '63 generously hosted 39 alumni and friends at their home in San Francisco. Later in the week, 30 southern California alumni and 
parents gathered at the home of Christine and Mitch Clarfield '82 on a beautiful sunny afternoon in Malibu. Guests such as Bo Belanger '06, Melissa Heinold '04, Jack Csenger '68 (right) and parents Susan and Robert Baggott P'11 (below) enjoyed spectacular views and the chance to meet fellow alumni in the area.
"Fairfield is never far from my thoughts even while being geographically quite distant,” said Michael Bond '05, pictured (below left) at the San Francisco reception below with Timothy Hill '70 (left) and Weston Wilson '06 (right).
"As such, it was great to meet some fellow Stags who reside in the Bay Area and share life experiences. It was a beautiful event and, coupled with hearing Fr. von Arx speak about the future of Fairfield, it really helped me feel connected to the University as it charges forward in these difficult times. I 
sincerely hope to encounter more Fairfield events here in California."
