Background / Areas of Specialty
Richard works with individuals who know who they are and what they want, career-wise. He is a coach, not a counselor and focuses on helping people get to where they want to be, not exploring where they've been.
Background includes corporate, military and entrepreneurial experience. Richard has conducted workshops for alumni at several universities, including Fairfield, and for 'displaced professionals' for the New York State Dept of Labor. In addition, he works part-time at Stony Brook University on Long Island helping students, alumni and veterans hone their job search skills.
Philosophy: Coach no more than three individuals at a time with the initial agreement to work for three months. Results oriented. Offers a 50% discount to alumni of Fairfield University and a complete refund if they don't have at least one job offer within 2 months after the three month period of your work together.
Candidates are screened to determine their work ethic, accountability and willingness to make and keep job search commitments. "Bottom line: my clients achieve success reaching their job search goals".
