At your leisure, visit the Bellarmine Museum of Art, which opened in Fall 2010.

Be sure to stop back at Alumni House for lunch before the campus tour.

Walking Tour of Campus with Father Charles Allen, S.J
Location: Alumni House
Take the afternoon to rediscover Fairfield University; there will be stops and mini-presentations along the way.

Class of 1963 Welcome Reception
Location: Alumni House
Enjoy cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres while you get reacquainted with your classmates.

Saturday, May 18

Continental Breakfast and Registration
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Meet for coffee and breakfast. If you’re just arriving on campus, check in and pick up your registration materials.

Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
The changing environment of education both from a teaching and learning prospective. An interactive conversation.

Fairfield University: Past, Present and Future
Location: Canisius 15
Join Dr. Mark C. Reed ’96, vice president for administration and chief of staff, and David Frassinelli, M.S. ’92, associate vice president for facilities management, for a lively discussion on the growth and development of Fairfield’s facilities over the past 50 years. As it has grown from the modest campus you once called home to today’s collection of nearly 50 buildings, Fairfield University has evolved to meet the needs of an expanding campus community while still maintaining its beauty and character.

50th Reunion Golden Stags Induction Ceremony & Luncheon
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
University President Rev. Jeffrey von Arx, S.J., will induct the Class of 1963 into the Golden Stags at this special ceremony. Lunch will follow. (You will have the opportunity to have your photo taken)

1:30 p.m.
Free Time: Exploring Fairfield
Locations: Campus-wide
Visit the Campus Center and stock up on your Stag gear at the Spirit Shop; tour the Walsh Art Gallery at the Quick Center for the Arts; visit the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola; or enjoy some quiet time catching up with your classmates. If you would like to change for the evening events a hospitality suite will be available. Evening attire: sport jacket (no tie required) and dressy casual for women.

3:00 p.m.
Baccalaureate Mass Preparation
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Caps and gowns will be provided for your participation in Baccalaureate Mass. Alumni with graduate/advanced degrees are welcome to wear their own regalia.

4:00 p.m.
Baccalaureate Mass
Location: Alumni Hall
Join in congratulating the Class of 2013 in this long-time tradition by participating in the Mass procession. Reserved seating will be provided for you and your guest.

5:30 p.m.
Class of 1963 Cocktail Reception and Dinner Dance
Location: Dolan School of Business Lobby and Dining Room
Reconvene, celebrate, and reminisce over cocktails and dinner.

Sunday, May 19

7:30 a.m.
Buffet Breakfast & Preparation for Commencement
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Enjoy a hearty breakfast buffet and one more class photo as you don your caps and gowns and prepare for Commencement.

8:30 a.m.
Transportation to Commencement

9:30 a.m.
63rd Commencement Ceremonies
Location: Bellarmine Lawn*
March in the Academic Procession as Fairfield celebrates its 63rd Commencement and the 50th anniversary of your graduation. Class of 1963 participants will receive special recognition. There will be reserved seating for your guest.

Farewell Lunch
Location: Dolan School of Business Dining Room
Immediately following the Commencement Ceremonies, youand your guest will be transported back to the School of Business where you can grab a boxed lunch for the road or sit and enjoy your lunch with your classmates.

*Details regarding Commencement in the event of inclement weather will be discussed when you arrive on campus.
