Thank you for your continued interest in Fairfield University. All students who have previously applied for either first-year or transfer admission must submit a new application and supplement for the semester they wish to enter.

I previously applied as a first-year applicant. What should I do differently if I want to apply as a transfer student?
As a transfer student reapplying for admission, you do not need to send us a new application fee or SAT/ACT scores. However, a new application and supplement for transfer admission, as well as supporting credentials must be submitted by the appropriate deadlines. Please refer to the transfer page of the front section of the paper application for information on applying as a transfer student.

Will the credentials and recommendations from my old application be considered with the new transfer application?
If you have applied within the past year, the credentials you previously submitted will be retrieved and added to your transfer application file. However, with the exception of your SAT/ACT scores, your earlier credentials or recommendations do not satisfy or complete any section of the transfer application. Remember that you must also send us a new, final high school transcript.

Why do you request a new high school transcript if that was part of my original first-year application?
The high school transcript received during your senior year is incomplete and does not document your graduation from high school. A new, final high school transcript will include the complete record of your senior year performance, as well as certification of your high school graduation.

If I have already applied for transfer admission and would like to be considered again, what do I have to do?
You must submit a new transfer application for the semester for which you are applying. If you are reapplying within one year, the additional documents needed include an updated college transcript, a confidential recommendation form, and the mid-term grade report (for spring semester applicants only.)
