Early Action

Early Action Deadline Date News We understand that students as well as high school counselors and teachers may be delayed in sending supporting credentials to Fairfield for Early Action consideration. Students and counselors should be assured that we will accept transcripts, recommendations and standardized test scores whenever high schools re-open and counselors are able to send the materials to Fairfield. Students who consider Fairfield University to be among their top choices and would like to have their application reviewed early may submit their application under our Early Action program. Applicants for Early Action must submit the completed application by November 1.

Early Decision

Students who are certain that Fairfield University is their first choice for a college education, and are willing to commit to attending if admitted, are welcome to apply as an Early Decision Candidate. Once admitted, an Early Decision candidate agrees to withdraw all other college applications and confirm his or her attendance at Fairfield.

To apply as an Early Decision candidate, please check the appropriate box on the signature page of the supplement and complete the Early Decision Agreement form which is part of the Common Application.
