Community Collaborative

The GSEAP recognizes a continuum of University-community relationships that are consistent with its mission and contribute to community engagement, student learning, and faculty development. Current opportunities include collaborations with local schools and community agencies that house student fieldwork and internship placements, service-learning projects, and applied research programs.

Through the formation of University-community partnerships, the GSEASP is working to deepen its relationship with individual schools or agencies in ways that are mutually beneficial, sustainable, and facilitate transformational growth for all constituents. Additionally, by establishing a Collaborative of these partnerships, the GSEAP is working to provide a structure for professional dialogue, sharing of ideas, and development of new initiatives across institutions. Through mutual goals and an integrated vision, these relationships will serve to innovate and inform professional training and practice, curriculum development, research activity, service projects, and growth at the individual and organizational levels.
