Gregory M. McGauley '93
Gregory McGauley is currently the Regional Managing Director for the Northeast Region, with responsibility for the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group. This region, headquartered in Boston, encompasses New England and Upstate New York. In 2010, his role expanded to include being the Head of the Merrill Lynch Family Office Group. In 2001, he also became Head of Global Wealth Management in Canada. Having grown up in Boston, he has spent his entire career in the Northeast.
Greg joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 as a Financial Advisor in Hyannis, Mass. In 2002, he became an Associate Director in Short Hills, New Jersey. He was then named Director of the Rockefeller Center Complex in New York City in 2005. He served as Director of the World Financial Center Complex, also in New York City, before returning to Boston in 2009. A graduate of Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, Greg holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He was an accountant with Coopers and Lybrand before joining Merrill Lynch. Greg, his wife Patty, and their two children reside in Waban, Massachusetts.
