Melissa Murphy Driscoll '84
Melissa graduated from Fairfield University's School of Business in 1984 with a degree in Marketing. While a student, she was very active in campus life as FUSA vice-president, Marketing Club president, newspaper advertising salesperson, and part of a student team working on special projects for the Marketing Department.
After a successful marketing career with Doubleday Publishing and TIAA/CREF, Melissa chose full-time motherhood when her first son was born in 1989. Since then, she has dedicated her time and talents to raising her two sons, and to volunteerism. She has held several board positions in her local School Community Association, is past president and founder of her local young mothers' association, and served on the Board of the Parents' Association of the Salisbury School, from which her two sons are graduated.
In addition, Melissa serves on numerous committees at Adelphi University, where her husband is a professor. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys golf and tennis. She and her family reside in Manhasset, New York, and West Palm Beach, Florida.
