Fairfield's Center for Academic Excellence supports professional development and the expansion of student-faculty research.

Fairfield University offers three offices staffed to help guide or transact external grants for faculty research, scholarship, teaching, and more - Sponsored Programs, Foundation Relations, and Corporate Relations.

Service learning is an approach to teaching that links academic study and community-based service so that each is strengthened and both are transformed.

The award-winning DiMenna-Nyselius Library offers Fairfield scholars Research Guides & Tutorials, Library Databases, Best Bets for Your Research, Library Research Guide for Faculty Publishing, and more.

Fairfield's scholarly community is active and accessible. Eligible students can join an honor society in the area of study in which they excel, and all students are welcome to reach out to faculty advisors, department chairs, program directors, faculty mentors, and librarians for project guidance and support.
