Summer Scholars Program
Admission
The Summer Scholars Program is open to qualified rising junior and senior high school students. Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.2 or higher to apply to the program.
Please complete online and/or send in the following:
- Fill out and send in the application form
- Submit a Guidance Counselor or Teacher Letter of Recommendation and copy of student's unofficial transcript
- Mail the application fee of $60 to the address below (goes toward program cost)
- Complete and send in the Housing/Medical form (must be completed and returned before program begins)
Program Costs
Tuition*: $1,800 (one 3-credit college course)
Room & Board: $1,300 (includes all meals and enrichment programming)
Other Options for Summer Scholars
Students can choose to commute from home and attend the two-week course and participate in the extra-curricular and enrichment activities offered outside of class.
Tuition: $1,800 (one 3-credit college course)
Meals and activity fee: $1000
Applications will be accepted from March 1 to June 15, 2013 (please contact summerscholars@fairfield.edu to see if any remaining spots are open past June 15)
Admission notification will be via e-mail within one week of receipt of all admission materials above.
If your child needs transportation to and from the airport, please follow this link to arrange for service through Fairfield University.
