Dr. Dennis Hodgson received his B.A. in Sociology from Fordham University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Cornell University. His areas of specialty are social demography, policy formation, social change in developing societies, and family change. He has been teaching at Fairfield University since 1976. He teaches General Sociology and Sociology of the Family on a regular basis. He also teaches seminar/lab courses on Population and Social Change in Developing Countries.
