Current Research Interests
She has conducted research on goal setting during primary care visits among Spanish speaking patients to assist with chronic disease management. She hopes to expand her research to incorporate different ways to deliver effective health education during the primary care visit, in particular the utilization of wait time in the exam room. She also aspires to establish collaborations and partnerships that facilitate the promotion of higher education among minority students.
