Antonio Grau Sempere earned his MA in Spanish from the University of New Mexico in 1998 and his Ph. D. in Ibero-Romance Philology and Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. Before joining Fairfield University he taught Spanish, Catalan, and Linguistics at the University of Evansville for four years.
