Current Research Interests
Dr. Gill Lopez's research interests include pre- and in-service supervision, dropout prevention, positive school climate, emotional intelligence, promoting acceptance of diversity, and mindfulness meditation in education. She recently received a $10,000 grant from the Hildagund A. Brinkman Private Charitable Foundation to examine the effects of a whole school prevention program designed to build acceptance of diversity in elementary school.
