Current Research Interests

Dr. Gannett's recent research and professional interests include:

  • Graduate student administration in Writing Center/ WAC Programs
  • The development of WAC/WID/Writing Program Archives
  • Nineteenth-century women’s literacy practices and pedagogies
  • The uses of action-research for writing program development
  • International composition studies
  • Jesuit rhetoric

She is currently co-editing a collection with Dr. Tom Pace (John Carroll University) on Jesuit rhetoric and rhetorical pedagogy, with the provisional title of Jesuit Rhetorical Traditions: Looking Backward, Looking Forward.
