Students learn math adds up in unique ways
Trying hard not to step on each other's feet, Arin Garland and Eleanor Rowe, both 9 and fourth-graders at the Six to Six Magnet School in Bridgeport, learned to mambo at Fairfield University Monday... Funded by a $25,000 grant from General Electric and arranged by Jennifer Goldberg, an assistant professor at Fairfield University, the idea was to help students see some novel and alternative ways math can be used.
