Current Research Interests
Development of biosensor systems for the monitoring of reproductive hormone metabolites: follicle stimulating hormone (βFSH), estrone conjugates (E1C) and pregnanediol-3-glucuronide (PdG) in remote tropical cultures. Instantly assayed hormonal data will be recorded via smart phone interface and relayed periodically to Fairfield University for the purpose of studying the reproductive ecology of traditional African breastfeeding cultures.
