Dr. Jiwei Xiao is associate professor teaching Chinese language, literature and film for Modern Languages and Literature Department and Asian Studies Program. She received her Ph.D. degree in Comparative Literature from Rutgers University. Her articles on film and literature were published in New Left Review, Senses of Cinema, Journal of Contemporary China, Wenyi yanjiu, and Concentric, among other journals.
