Theologians struggle to tie together roles in church, academia
Asked how the work of theologians is viewed, Dr. John Thiel said that, in some quarters, people believe theologians should simply "repeat the uncontroversial," but "there is a pluralism in ways to do theology in the church today and this pluralism is unprecedented in theology's earlier history."
