Schwab was honored this summer when gray-scale images scanned from 26 of her original research drawings of the Parthenon's east and north metopes (the spaces between two triglyphs on a Doric frieze) became part of the permanent installation in the Parthenon Gallery of the new Acropolis Museum in Athens.

Elaborate Grecian hairstyles copied from Acropolis Museum statues come to life on Fairfield University student volunteers
Dr. Katherine Schwab, associate professor of art history, arranged for Acropolis Museum caryatid coiffures to come to life on six student volunteers. News 12 CT interviewed Dr. Schwab and filmed one of the elaborate hair styles as it was being completed.
