Current Research Interests
My research interests focus on the evolving role of connectivity in our lives. The internet began (e.g. ARPNET) as a way to connect computers to other computers. As the internet evolved, it began to connect people, machines and sensors and started a vivid new vocabulary of ‘cloud’, ‘fog’ and ‘internet of things’. Join us in imaging a world where everything is connected!
My technical expertise is wireless communications systems with an emphasis on physical layer design and analysis; and signal processing with an emphasis on speech and image signal processing.
