Dr. Manister is an Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing. She is a Board Certified-Family Nurse Practitioner, and Clinical Nurse Specialist, and has worked in both community and hospital settings for over 30 years. She is a specialist in Women’s Health and College Health, and has also worked as a Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Her research has focused on the role of stress in emotional eating and obesity, and testing and application of the Neuman System’s Model in Nursing.
