Vice President for Student Affairs Thomas C. Pellegrino


Thomas C. Pellegrino is the Vice President for Student Affairs at Fairfield University.

Image: Tom PelligrinoThomas C. Pellegrino is Vice President for Student Affairs at Fairfield University. In this role, he leads and oversees student development, student services, campus ministry, and is charged with student safety and security.

Dr. Pellegrino came to Fairfield University in 2004 and was appointed Dean of Students in 2006. In May 2007 he was named Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, and in 2011 was appointed to his current position. Dr. Pellegrino has been an adjunct professor in the Dolan School of Business, teaching a course on negotiation and dispute resolution. He chairs the Athletics Compliance and Grievance Committee. He is Northeast Region Vice President of the Jesuit Association of Student Personnel Administrators (JASPA).

Prior to coming to Fairfield, Dr. Pellegrino was engaged in the private practice of law in Connecticut for 10 years. He holds a bachelor's degree in politics from Fairfield University, a juris doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, and a Ph.D. in Educational Administration from the University of Connecticut.
