Letter from the Alumni Association President
Dear Friends,
Welcome to "1073 North Benson" - the place you called home for four special years of your life. In this creative new format, the Alumni Association is pleased to bring Fairfield University to your home address, with news about all that's happening at ours - on 1073 North Benson.
We hope "1073" will give you quick access to upcoming events and important dates, let you enjoy photos of recent alumni events, and plug into news not only about the alumni club nearest you, but activities taking place at other Fairfield clubs across the U.S
As you may have noticed, our highly popular (and always abundant) Class Notes have a new address - in the alumni magazine, Fairfield Now, which was mailed to you last month. We're eager to hear your news, so keep those Class Notes coming.
And in the meantime, we'll continue bringing Fairfield's news to you, straight from "1073 North Benson."

Sincerely,

Laura A. Incerto '81

1,300 celebrate Reunion 1999
Alumni from the classes of 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, & 1994 returned to campus in June for two days of sunshine and celebration.
Fairfield's reunions offer something for everyone - just ask any of the 1,300 individuals who attended this year's Reunion Weekend. Alumni and their families took part in a variety of activities, including the three-mile Fun Run, a campus walking tour, games with the children, the Family Picnic, class cocktail parties and the Bellarmine Gardens Dinner, a reunion Mass, and the Farewell Champagne Brunch.
A special note to all veterans
In the April issue of Alumni News we asked alumni who served in Vietnam to contact us so that an event in their honor might be held in conjunction with the 60s Project taking place this fall on campus.
Based on the excellent response we received to our inquiry, as well as inquiries from veterans of other wars, Homecoming 1999 will include a Mass at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 7, in the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola to honor veterans who served in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and other conflicts.
If you have not already submitted your name, please contact Alumni Relations at (203) 254-4280 so your name may be included among those we remember at the Mass. In addition, if you know of classmates who died in these wars, we would appreciate knowing their names.
