Timothy Lane ’85, P’24, ’16 spent much of his career as a managing director at TIAA and is the current president of Emeriti Retirement Health. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to higher education and giving back to his alma mater in many ways over the years as an active member of several committees at Fairfield, including the Reunion Committee, the Fairfield Awards Dinner as co-chair and member, the Our Promise Campaign Committee, and the Trustee Advisory Council.

Lane and his wife Rose (Mulvey) ’85, P’24, ’16 are engaged members of the Parents Leadership Council, attending President’s Receptions and hosting the President’s Reception at the Hackensack Golf Club in 2022, as well as the Friends of the Jesuits Golf Outing. In 2009, they established the Mulvey and Lane Family Scholarship at Fairfield University, created to honor their parents and the Catholic education they value so deeply.

The Montvale, New Jersey, couple’s ongoing support of Fairfield is a family tradition, with their son Thomas ’24 serving as a leader of a Stag student newspaper and daughter Mairin ’16 on the alumni board.
